Frequently Asked Questions
How do I submit my work for the 9/11/2026 Unity project?
Submitting your work is easy. Simply download the submission form, fill it out, and then email it back to us at: submissions@9112026.com.
What are the criteria for submitting my work?
Your art must relate, in some manner, to the events of September 11,2001. Your work will be evaluated on how well it relates to that day as well as its impact on the consumers (e.g. the audience) of your work. Unity is the canonical theme, but you may examine any theme that relates to that day.
What forms of art are allowed?
Any form (painting, sculpture, written work, video, audio, music, etc.) may be submitted, though there are practical concerns (transportation costs, display space, etc.) that may be considered when your work is evaluated.
If my work is accepted, where will it be displayed?
Not all works submitted and accepted will be displayed at all venues. Schools, organizations, and even individuals primarily associated with a specific geographically area, may only be displayed at the venue in their area. For instance, If NYC students submit their work as part of a school's involvement in the project may only have their work displayed at the venue in New York City.
