The 9/11/2026 UNITY Project is an artistic initiative honoring the heroes of September 11, 2001, through powerful expressions and reflections by artists. Anyone who has a story they want to tell, through art, about that fateful day, are encouraged to submit their work.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a forum for artists to honor and remember the ordinary people who found themselves confronting extraordinary acts of pure evil on 9/11/2001.

The Exhibition

Honoring the memories of September 11 through artistic expression and community engagement.

The Expanded Idea

As the project got started, it quickly became clear that it would be impossible for one person to do justice to all but a few of the transformative memories of that day. There were so many stories worth telling. (Learn more)

The Initial Idea
